Hey Yzbabel..I played Pen and Paper RPGs for years. Do you still play? I stopped about 10 years ago. What games did you play? I mostly played D&D and Warhammer RPG. We played some other games like Call of Cthulhu, Paranoia and Vampire, but none of those campaigns lasted very long.

Haha! Great minds think alike. :D

Still playing, although now I stick to a few games only, and don’t really go looking for new ones. I played Cthulhu a few times, but mostly I stuck to some of the old World of Darkness games (a little of Vampire, a LOT of Mage, and a some Changeling). Also, 7th Sea, to cater to my swashbuckling needs. I’ve had a 1880 Victorian Mage campaign in the works since 2008, but haven’t storytelled it much in the past year or so.

I’ve heard of the World of Darkness games, but I’ve only played Vampire and that was years ago. I’ve never heard of 7th Sea.

I’ve found that since I started writing, I lost interest in role-playing. In the old days, if I had an idea, I would just run a campaign. Now I save all of that good stuff for my stories, lol.

To be honest, my interest for RPGs waxes and wanes, depending on the period. What they do usually is to fuel my inspiration for drawing, and writing is something else altogether. One exception is when I write ‘game session reports’ in the shape of my character’s journal or something—it’s fun to do, and since I do it in English, it’s also part of my own training to improve in using this language (and part of my “the first million of words you write is always crap” ;) ).
