I stumbled upon this while browsing the Technorati tag about Writing, and although it’s nothing official, it can be a fun little challenge for those who would be interested by NaNoWriMo, but know they won’t have the time, especially by the end of November. The basic is simple: you have between October 31st and November 4th to write a 5,000 words short story (or less; the rules quite loose here). The interest?
